On the morning of October 28th, the founding ceremony of Lanzhou University Alumni Association at Suzhou was grandly held in Suzhou. An Lizhe, vice President of Lanzhou University, Zhou Xiangqun, member of the standing committee of Suzhou City and director of the United Front Work Department, and the principals of the LZU Alumni Association attended the ceremony, with about 100 alumni in Suzhou. Representatives of the LZU Alumni Association at Jiangsu, Shanghai, and Wuxi also came to congratulate. The ceremony was hosted by Xie Jing, President of the Alumni Association at Suzhou.
On the ceremony, An Lizhe and Zhou Xiangqun delievered a speech respectively in hope that the new alumni association will constantly develop to play a positive role in the development of LZU alumni and the overall progress of Suzhou. Then they unveiled the plague and start the website together and offered gifts for the association, on behalf of Lanzhou University and Suzhu government respectively.
