Invited by PARC, commissioned by Pro. An Lizhe, deputies of the Joint R&D Centre of China-Pakistan Biomass Technology of MOST in LZU, led by Pro. Li Xiangkai, visited PARC in Istanbul, held a discussion on the construction of the centre, 23rd and 24th of April.
In the afternoon of April 23rd, Pro. Nadeem Amjad, chairman of PARC and relevant project leaders met Pro. Li Xiangkai and his colleagues at the headquarter of PARC. Li said that Gansu Province gives great support to the construction of the centre, hoping that the centre act as the bridge head in the scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries. Through the construction, we will extend in-depth cooperation between Gansu province in China and Pakistan, encourage more scientific academies in Gansu province to work with Pakistan, and make solid contributions to our friendship and the new development of the Belt&Road Initiative.
Reviewing the previous cooperation between PARC and LZU, Chairman Nadeem expressed his gratitude to LZU for the support. He pointed out that LZU is a great partner with both capability and and executive ability. Since September, 2015, when PARC and LZU signed a cooperative agreement and inaugurated the joint centre, two sides made pragmatic cooperation in just a few months. Especially under the efforts of LZU, the construction was supported by MOST of China. He expressed his confidence to the future development of the centre. He pointed out that Pakistan government has attached great importance to the building of the centre. He stressed that PARC, together with LZU, would spare no effort to the construction of the centre, and welcome universities, academies, and enterprises join in the cooperative R&D, taking the centre as the platform.
