The theme of the First Gansu Green Medicine Industry-University-Research Institute Collaboration & Innovation Summit was the sustainable use and exploitation of Gansu Green Medicine resource. Participants discussed the current situation, breeding, implantation, functional active ingredients, further processing, pesticide effect, pharmacology, construction of the green recycling industrial chain of the Gansu medicine in Gansu province, and further analyzed the conditioning factors, key problems, developing direction of the green medicine development. The experts and scholars agreed that a tight cooperation among universities, research teams, local government, enterprises and farmer households was necessary for the development of Gansu green medicine. They aim to achieve the sustainable development of Gansu medicine on the basis of implementing Industry-University-Research Institute Collaboration. Led by Gansu green medicine R&D center of LZU, integrated by all resources in the province, Gansu Chinese herbal medicine industry would integrate all resources in the province, and become more professional and down-to-earth, stronger and greater.
