LZU’s 3 research institutes selected into first patch of CTTI

Conference on Chinese Think Tank Governance 2016 was held in Nanjing University on Dec. 16, 2016. Nearly 700 experts and scholars from the central and provincial management department of think tanks, from the first patch of institutes of Chinese Think Tank Index (CTTI), and from the research community of think tank attended the meeting. CTTI and its first patch of shortlisted think tanks were released in this meeting. CTTI is the first vertical search engine and data management platform of Chinese think tank, which is jointly developed by Nanjing University’s Chinese Think Tank Research Center and Guangming Daily’s Think Tank Research and Publishing Center. The meeting ultimately selected 489 institutes, including 255 university-managed ones. The Northwest Minority Research Center, the Central Asian Institute and the Silk Road Economic Zone Construction Research Center of Lanzhou University were chosen as the first source think tanks of CTTI.

In addition, the Central Asian Institute of Lanzhou University was elected as the only one in Northwest China to be the governing unit of Chinese Council of the BRICS Think Tank with associate Professor Zhu Yongbiao as its director.
