On February 24th and 25th, “Kazakhstan Foreign Knowledge Olympic Contest” was held in Almaty. Sponsored by Kazakhstan Ministry of Education, this contest attracted more than 300 foreign major students from Kazakhstan colleges covering 9 foreign languages, namely, Chinese, English,etc. And the Chinese contest was co-hosted by LZU, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Confucius Institute as well as Kazakh Ablaikhan University of International Relations and World Languages.
After fierce competition, there were 4 first prize winners, 8 second prize winners and 12 third prize winners.Chinese Consulate General in Almaty will award Chinese Government Scholarship for the first prize winners.
