Dean Deng Yi and Prof. Lin Xia from The College of Computing and Informatics, Drexel University (Drexel U) paid a visit to LZU to further negotiation on cooperation education programs.
President Wang Cheng from LZU said that in-depth communication has been reached on the basis of former cooperation between two parties ever since LZU initiated cooperation education with overseas universities and institutions. He also expressed his hope that with common vision and a good basis, details of cooperation contract be implemented soon during Dean Deng’s visit, serving as a model and driver to the cooperation work of LZU. Dean Deng expressed his wish to solve existing problems with his utmost efforts as Drexel U has always attached great importance to the cooperation with LZU.
In order to promote the aforementioned cooperation effort, to introduce high-quality education resources, to advance teaching ideals and managerial experience, and to improve the talent training quality and teaching capability, The School of Information Science and Engineering (SISE), LZU, plans to launch undergraduate education program for computer sci & tech major in the field of data science with College of Computing and Informatics, Drexel U, on the basis of former communications. Further detailed were negotiated among LZU's International Office, SISE, and Dean Deng on March 18th.
