On March 28th, a delegation headed by Dr. Wang Xiaobo, vice president in Asia Pacific of Wiley, an internationally renowned academic publishing group, visited Lanzhou University.
Vice President An Lizhe briefed our guests on LZU’s general situation and features of scientific research features. He stressed that LZU's scientific research, with their own characteristics, ranks among the nation’s highest in the number of thesis published in international-known journals and the cited rate .Presently, LZU is committed to training students' innovative ability and independent research capacity, in hope that Wiley can provide supports with our students in acquiring knowledge, fostering quality and sharpening up ability. Being long-term cooperative partners, Wiley and LZU share a common and broad prospect for the future database cooperation which contributes to LZU’s "double first-class" initiative.
Wang Xiaobo detailed the history and related business of Wiley , and expressed that as a group in long-standing good relation with LZU, Wiley would devise customized solutions to answer LZU’s specific requirements and questions, thus promoting a more favorable cooperation between two sides.
