Recently, China-Russia Strategic High-end Cooperation Think Tank of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences(China-Russia Strategic Cooperation Think Tank, or CRSCT) held its opening ceremony, calling its first council meeting. Institute for Central Asian Studies of LZU elected as member of Executive Council of CRSCT, with its director, Prof. Yang Shu, appointed as the executive director of the council.
CRSCT was founded by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, aiming at pushing forward the openness of China-Russian strategic cooperation and the establishment of international high-end think tank. Every year, the think tank holds high-level China-Russia think tank forum with one motif. Seminars or round-table conferences with its cooperative think tank, international organizations, government departments, scientific research institutions, enterprises, industry associations will be convened discussing the domestic and international hot issues. Relevant information and the latest research results will be submitted to the decision-making section and others of the government. The annual report of the think tank, series of policy reports, research notes and the like will be released to the whole society. An information platform, official website and WeChat official account will be established and maintained.
