The 12th Gansu Learning Tour for Mainland and Hongkong Students has been held during Jun.8th from Jun.17th.The activity was sponsored by LZU, and undertaken by History & Culture School, LZU and Department of Religion and Philosophy, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU). During this activity, 51 students and teachers studied history, religion, national minroities and culture along the ancient Silk Road.
The study group, through 10 days' journey, visited places of interest, made friends, appreciated the long history, distinctive culture and various folk customs extending on the vast Northwest China, and deeply learned pains paid by ancestors to guard this region. Besides, they also exchanged academic ideas and co-attended academic forums.
By communications and discussion, participants closely touched Northwest China and national realities here, deepened patriotism spirit and national feelings as well as understood deeply with each other and consolidated intimate friendship.
