Researchers Make New Progress in the Design and Construction of Strategic Elements Membranes Separation in Salt Lake

The research team led by Prof. Chen Ximeng and research fellow Li Zhan from the Frontier Science Center for Rare Isotopes, Lanzhou University (LZU) made new progress in the design and construction of strategic elements membranes separation in salt lake.

The research results were published in the internationally renowned journal Nano Letters of the American Chemical Society (ACS) in the field of nanoscience and technology, with the title “Ultraflat Graphene Oxide Membranes with Newton-Ring Prepared by Vortex Shear Field for Ion Sieving”.

The doctoral student Liu Tianqi and associate Prof. Zhang Xin are co-first authors. The research fellow Li Zhan and Prof. Chen Ximeng are corresponding authors. The research was supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities of LZU.
