Recently, led by Prof. Dai Shuang from the School of Earth Sciences of Lanzhou University (LZU), the research team published a paper entitled “Jurassic Evolution of the Dunhuang Basin and Its Implications for the Early History of the Altyn Tagh Fault, Northeast Tibet Plateau” in the internationally renowned geological journal Tectonics. The team is cooperated with the Geological Survey of Gansu Province and Exploration and Development Research Institute, Shengli Oilfield Branch Company of Sinopec.
The research was supported by the Second Tibetan Plateau Scientific Expedition and Research Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and the Fundamental Research Funds for the Central Universities.
