On May 17, First Deputy, Vice-Rector Safarov Davron Jurakhon of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and his delegation visited Lanzhou University (LZU). Vice President Chen Ximeng met with the delegation at the Yifu Science Building.
Vice President Chen Ximeng welcomed the delegation and introduced the history of LZU as well as the exchanges with Tajikistan. He hoped to take this exchange as an opportunity to promote substantive cooperation between the two sides in joint training programs and scientific research.
First Deputy, Vice-Rector Jurakhon expressed his gratitude to LZU and hoped that both sides could jointly construct a Center for Human Resource Development in the Public Service, and conduct in-depth cooperation in teacher and student exchange, joint academic activities and so on.
Both sides reached a preliminary cooperation intention. The visit will further enhance the close relationship between the two universities and make contributions to the development of higher education and cultural exchanges for both countries.
