Research Team Makes Important Progress in Exploring the Influencing Mechanisms of CO Variations with Artificial Intelligence

Recently, Prof. Chen Bin from the College of Atmospheric Sciences supervised his students to publish a research article entitled “Synergistic Observation of FY-4A&4B to Estimate CO Concentration in China: Combining Interpretable Machine Learning to Reveal the Influencing Mechanisms of CO Variations” in npj Climate and Atmospheric Science online. The study analyzed the causes of diurnal variations of CO and revealed the important factors and possible mechanisms affecting CO.

Prof. Chen Bin is the first and corresponding author of the paper, and his master’s degree students Hu Jiashun and Wang Yixuan are the second and third authors, respectively.
