President Yan Chunhua, Member of Chinese Academy of Sciences, visited Belarus and attended the China-Belarus High-Level University Presidents Forum from June 25 to 27.
The China-Belarus High-Level University Presidents Forum was held on June 26. President Yan Chunhua made a keynote speech on the topic of “Enhancing understanding and exchanges: Advance in-depth cooperation in science and technology and talent cultivating between Chinese and Belarusian universities”. He introduced the University Alliance of the Belt and Road, which was established by LZU and has a total number of 187 members by far. The University Alliance of the Belt and Road Forum will be held in this September, and Belarusian universities are welcomed to attend the forum and exchange ideas.
He stressed that LZU is willing to carry out more extensive cooperation with Belarusian universities in predominant disciplines, promote the scientific and technological development and talent cultivating, and carry forward the bilateral cooperation to a new level.
After the forum, President Yan Chunhua had in-depth communication with Presidents of Belarusian universities on bilateral cooperation.
During the visit, President Yan Chunhua also attended the Work Exchange Meeting of Chinese universities organized by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Belarus.
