Recently, The Research Center for Fine Particulate Pollution Control Technology and Equipment Engineering of Gansu Province and The Orthopedic 3D Printing Engineering Research Center of Gansu Province, supported by LZU, were approved to be established. Up to now, a total of nine engineering research centers (engineering laboratories) of Gansu province has been located in LZU.
Led by Wang Bo, professor of College of Resources and Environment of LZU, co-established by Design Academy of Environmental Science of Gansu Province, clouding Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. of Lanzhou City and Clean Appliance co. Ltd. of Jiangsu province, The Research Center for Fine Particulate Pollution Control Technology and Equipment Engineering of Gansu Province sticks to the orientation of modularized function centering on clouding dust removal, optimizes the clouding dust removal through utilizing the high efficiency of atomizing system, automatic control system and the coordination of several parts in dust removal. Efforts are also made to develop the coordinated technology of disposing industrial smoke (powder) fine particulate matter PM2.5 based on the clouding dust removal technology to establish a world-class platform focusing on the development and piloting of new dust removal technologies and the transformation of achievements from laboratories into markets.
Led by Xia Yayi, professor of the Second Hospital Affiliated to LZU, The Orthopedic 3D Printing Engineering Research Center of Gansu Province is dedicated to applying the 3D Printing technology to orthopedics and establishing the application platform for clinical surgery, research and experiment and teaching demonstration with the support of 3D printing technology while combining the production technology and production models, thus forming a set of self-independent core technologies and scientific research achievements, and turning those achievements into industrial products and developing in large scale.
