At the invitation of the School of Management, LZU, associate vice president of Aston University(England) Geoffrey Parkes and his staff paid a visit to LZU from Jan. 3rd to 5th. LZU assistant to president He Deyan met the delegation in Qiyun building in the morning of Jan. 4th. Leaders of the School of Management, LZU were also present.
He Deyan introduced the history, disciplinary development, international cooperation and other status quo of LZU. In an effort to seizing the opportunity of the visit, He Deyan expressed his wishes to promote the cooperative education, faculty and student exchange, scientific research and other cooperation between Aston Business School and LZU School of Management.
Geoffrey Parkes said that Aston University attaches great importance to the cooperation with China’s colleges and universities. It is their honor to develop cooperation with LZU and they are hoping to launch exchange programme with the School of Management for students in the major of accountancy(ACCA training course) soon.
After the meeting, Geoffrey Parkes and his delegation had a thorough discussion with leaders and teachers of the School of Management in terms of student exchange programme and reached a consensus.
