On March 14th, John Hultberg, Associate Dean of School of Health and Welfare, Jönköping University in Sweden, visited Lanzhou University with other three people. Pan Baotian, Vice-President of LZU met the delegation at VIP room in Yifu Science Building, accompanied by principals from LZU International Office, the First Hospital and School of Nursing.
Pan Baotian introduced to the visitors the basic conditions of LZU’s advantage disciplines, especially the development of medicine science, as well as the policies on talents. He noted that medicine science was among the key disciplines well-targeted in the “two first-class construction” of LZU, therefore the both sides would share broad prospect for development. Moreover, he expressed his welcome to experts and scholars from Jönköping University to teach or conduct scientific research here.
John Hultberg introduced the basic realities of Jönköping University. And then he confirmed the words of Pan by showing confidence in the further cooperation in the domains that they are both interested in. The two sides achieved consensus in deepening and broadening scientific cooperation and talents cultivation in geriatrics and nursing.
