The Second Silk Road Cultural Economics International Seminar was held in University of Valencia in Spain from March 4 to March 10. The Seminar aimed at motivating innovation and exploring similarities and differences in the Eurasian development as well as seeking cooperation. Prof. Peng Lanjia was invited to the seminar and gave a keynote speech named The Goal and Path of the Transnational Cultural Industry Belt Along the Silk Road. He tackled this issue through several aspects such as the historic basis, practical approach and profound meaning of the transnational cultural industry, and then he had a deep and wide communication with scholars from other countries.

The international seminar was supported by the government of Valencia and EU Cultural and Economic Organization. Experts, entrepreneurs of relevant fields comimg from Spain and other European countries gathered in Valencia in an effort to discuss current issues and theories of cultural economics and to seek pathway of exchanges and cooperation among countries involved.
