On March 26th, Nature Plants, an internationally renowned botanical journal, published online the research paper of Prof. Gou Xiaoping’s research group of the Key Laboratory of Cellular Activities and Adaptation of the Ministry of Education, School of Life Sciences, LZU, “A group of receptor kinases are essential for CLAVATA. Signalling to maintain stem cell homeostasis”. This research has received great attention from international counterparts.
Since its establishment in 2011, the Key Laboratory of Cell Activity and Adversity Adaptation of the Ministry of Education has always adhered to the objectives of world-class scientific research, worked hard to promote the development of a shared platform, carried out original high-level research work, and made encouraging progress. Since 2016, it has published a series of influential research results in many internationally renowned academic journals.
At the same time, the laboratory has made remarkable achievements in personnel training and introduction, platform development and international exchanges in the past two years. The key laboratory, with School of Life Sciences, has built a high-level and highly-shared life science research platform and has trained an experimental technology team with excellent techniques and first-class management skills, thus playing an important role in high-level research work in disciplines like life science, medicine, pharmacy, skoology and chemistry in LZU. In addition, the laboratory invites 30 to 40 well-known professors from home and abroad to visit and give lectures each year for exchanges and cooperation, which has greatly improved the international reputation and influence of the School of Life Science.
