Recently, An Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and Socialism with Chinese Characteristics(2018), a key textbook of the research and construction project of Marxism under the guidance of the central government of China, was published. Prof. Liu Xianchun, doctoral student supervisor of the School of Marxism, LZU, was appointed as the chief expert in the textbook’s redact research team.
In an effort to recommend the latest theoretical results of the CPC to students textbook, Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China organized experts in Marxism and launched a new round of redact and revise work on political education textbooks used by undergraduate students and graduate students. New-established research team members of the textbook and officials from office of theory in the Publicity Department of the CPC did a comprehensive revise on An Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought and Socialism with Chinese Characteristics after several months’ study and discussion. The new textbook will carry out requirements of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the CPC. It also reflects the latest achievements of the localization of Marxism of China, abundant practice of the Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and the latest progress in relevant fields.
