On May 23rd, finals of the 16th campus Top Ten Singers competition of graduate students, sponsored by the LZU committee of the Communist Youth League and undertaken by the graduate students union of LZU, started in the hall of the student center in main campus.
After the cool light show and atmosphere-mobilizing videos demonstration, Ye Sheng, the “vocal king of LZU”, showed up, and his perfect performance of a song “Ke Le” immediately ignited the present atmosphere. Then, fourteen competitive singers began to compete for the final winners. Finally, after the fierce competition, Wang Yao won the “Viewers Choice”, and Yu Tianzi, the singing group of Guan Xin and Hou Xiuqi, Zhou Yue, Diao Long, Yun Yaling, Liu Xingbao and Ren Xiaoshan stood out as “top ten singers”. Wang Yao and Tianzhong Qianyang ranked the second place and the third place respectively, while Zhao Zhixing and Tan Yanzi both became the champions, and this is the first time for this competition to witness two champions in one session over the past 16 years.
As a popular campus competition with cultural significance and brand effect, the campus Top Ten Singers competition of graduate students has successfully gone through 16 sessions, and each of them has provided a feast of seeing and hearing for teachers and students in LZU and left behind beautiful memories about campus life and youth time. This competition demonstrates the vibrancy and spirituality of LZU’s graduates students in the new era, and it also enriches the campus life of all graduate students.
