Belt and Road symposium on frontiers of world history held in Lanzhou University

Held by history and culture school of LZU, the Belt and Road symposium on frontiers of world history was held in Lanzhou University from June 9th to 10th. There are three major topics of the symposium: cultural exchanges and globalization; research on regional history and histories of individual countries of the Belt and Road;  new thoughts on world history research. With over 50 experts and scholars attended, the symposium received positive response and warm support from domestic academic community on world history.

The symposium ended in the afternoon of June 10th. Then some of the participants came to Gansu Provincial Museum for an academic research.

United famous domestic universities, scientific research institutions and main universities in northwest China together, the symposium not only expanded the content and its depth, but also provided cooperative opportunities between history and culture school of LZU and domestic universities and scientific research institutions, and laid the foundation for further development of world history discipline of history and culture school.
